November 11: The film had a limited release on November 11, a day before Diwali, and earned around Rs 6.48 crore from the advance bookings1. The film sold around 2.27 lakh tickets on Monday, of which 2.17 lakh tickets were for its Hindi 2D shows, 5,377 tickets for its Hindi IMAX shows and 3,077 tickets for its Telugu 2D shows respectively.
November 12: The film had a bumper opening on Diwali, November 12, and recorded an excellent opening day collection of a whopping Rs 44.50 crore in India according to trade reports. The film saw an overall occupancy of 41.32 per cent and the highest occupancy rate was recorded at 46.18 per cent during night shows. The film also saw the biggest Bollywood opening during Diwali ever.
